Marie-Claire's experience with antiques began in 1966 where she helped out in her parents antique shops in Wasaga Beach and Collingwood Ontario, buying, selling, restoring antiques, furniture and collectables, going to auctions and antique shows.
This continued in 1976 in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she opened and successfully ran "Oldtiques and Newtiques," and where she also conducted appraisals for private, corporate, institutional and museum collections.
In 1991, Marie-Claire moved to Salmon Arm, BC, where she continued her antique and personal property appraisal services. Today the accumulation of Marie-Claire's many years in the antique and personal property industry has conceived "Marie-Claire's Appraisal Services," a home based and virtual business.
